Kathleen has been enthusiastically into horses since childhood and as a 13-year-old girl, she acquired her first Arabian horse. 2003 was the beginning of the stud when the first stallion was purchased.
Joakim found his love of horses a bit later in life but fell in love with the Arabian horse at first sight. Driven by passion, the Ohlsson family step by step built a boutique of quality Arabian horses.
The star at the stud farm has been the extreme black stallion Magic Magnifique (True Colours x Magic Mon Amour), described as one of the most exotic stallions in the world today.
Magic Magnifique stayed with us for 10 years and is now sold.
Our horses are exported all over the world and many of them go on to international wins and Champion titles, Best in Show, and Most Classic Head titles.
Joakim was chosen as the Best Amateur Handler in his first show ever and he now typically shows our horses himself.
Both Kathleen and Joakim are qualified in equine insemination after education at Flyinge 2012 and Joakim’s education at Bollerup 2021. They are both certified semen technicians, approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture and Joakim after being an apprentice in equine breeding management with a specialist in reproduction, Dr. Thiago Moraes from the United States.
Kathleen is a National ECAHO judger in Arabian show halter.
They are both passionate breeders and the goal is for every year breed, for us, even better horses.
